Dugan Flowers and Frames 8" Ruffled Carnival Glass Bowl Electric on Purple
This is a
fascinating
piece, the color variations of the iridescence is remarkable.
It's as if it becomes a completely different piece depending on how you look at it and the lighting environment.
Electric hues of gold, purple and blue in the center that blend outward
and morph into a bright silver and gold.
The base color of the glass is purple, with a dome footed base.
There is no iridescence on the back side of the bowl; seems quite unique - it's the only one I've seen.
Measures 8 3/4" across and stands 3 1/2" tall at highest ruffle.
There are some mold marks (one rough spot from
mfg.
) & a couple straw marks on back and on dome foot.
One tiny straw mark on inside (very hard to see).

**Note antique/vintage carnival glass is not perfect; as each piece was handmade.
Mold/straw marks, bubbles, cinders and color variants of
iridescence
are typical of all carnival glass and does not constitute as "damage".
